Week in Review

Lady Gaga has finally debuted the music video to "Telephone" featuring Beyonce. The 9 minute video has been the most anticipated video in a very long time. It will definitely be talked about like Madonna's "Like a Prayer" controversy. From risque outfits to lesbian kissing it's going to rouse up some words. You can make your own opinion. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ95z6ywcBY

Twilight fans already started the countdown for the third installment set to be released on June 30, 2010, but there was more excitement for the fans this week. The full teaser trailer for "Eclipse" was finally released. Should Bella choose Jacob or Edward? If you were living in a cave or haven't read the book, I guess you'll have to wait and see. Here's the trailer if you missed it: http://www.twilightthemovie.com/

Spotted: Fashion designer Betsey Johnson walking through the streets of Soho during a monsoon. I guess a dedicated shopper will canoe through the water if they needed to. She looked as crazy as she usually does. No wonder she still cartwheels down her runway after every show.

Famed portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz came in my store during the torrential downpour the other day. Her family and her looked very happy as they browsed through the racks before making their way back into the storm.

and the Oscar went to...

So the 82nd Oscars was held last night in Hollywood, California. Being that it was hosted by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, I anticipated it being hilarious. Good thing I didn't hold my breath. I literally fell asleep..no joke fell asleep that I missed the the final four awards. It sucks that you have to wait the entire 3 hours to watch useless awards being given out, when the only important ones are at the very end. The Grammy's are my favorite awards show because at least there is some sort of entertainment.

Best Picture- The Hurt Locker
Best Director- Kathryn Bigelow
Actor in a Leading Role- Jeff Bridges
Actress in a Leading Role- Sandra Bullock

It was pretty funny that The Hurt Locker beat out Avatar. I don't think James Cameron was too hyped on his ex-wife beating him out of two awards. But on the other hand, he's sitting on a mountain of gold due to the vast amounts of money Avatar grossed since its opening day.

The only thing I enjoy most about The Academy Awards is the fashion. Miley Cyrus was my absolute favorite. Wtf was JLo wearing? She looked like she had a bubble hanging off her already huge ass. Then there was Zefron and Taylor Lautner who were definitely the best dressed men of the evening.

Top 10 Things to Look Forward to in 2010

10. Alice in Wonderland in IMAX 3-D...well actually seeing Johnny Depp play the Mad Hatter. It's going to be unreal.

9. The release of Justin Beiber's "My World 2.0" If only I was 16 years old...that little cute monster would be on my "can get it" list.

8. The next American idol? No one is even going to come close to Adam. So actually I am not even interested. They should just cancel the season.

7. Jimmy Fallon's next "Rob is Bothered" skit. If you missed the others or have no clue what I'm talking about, check it out here. http://www.robertisbothered.com/

6. The Addams Family on Broadway. Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth are just going to be showstopping.

5. The end of "Lost." I never even watched the show but can't wait to hear how the hell it ends. That has to be the most confusing show ever to be on TV. With only a few episodes left, more questions are surfacing and the show seems to be further away from an answer.

4. Bon Jovi kicks off his two year world tour. I still need to snatch myself a pair of tickets. With a couple shows at the new Giants Stadium...it shouldn't be that hard.

3. The release of the third installment of Twilight, entitled Eclipse in June.

2. The release of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part One in November. I can't believe they had to split the last movie into two parts. I feel like these kids are going to be grown and married by the time this phenomenon ends.

1. The opening of the Harry Potter Theme Park in Universal's Island of Adventures. I wish I was going to the ribbon cutting ceremony. I'm lucky if I get there in September, but if I have to apply for a job as a wizard working in The Three Broomsticks...you better bet I will make it there!

Celebrity Update Fridays

Yes I'm back! I know it's been awhile and I let some of my readers down but I have finally dragged my lazy ass out of rehab (not really just extremely in a rut). But anyways its a new year and that only means more sex, drugs and rock and roll. These goddamn celebrities all belong in the crazy house.

Anyways...so much has been going on.

Goo Goo for Gaga- Lady Gaga managed to complete her US tour with the wackiest costumes and of course she performed for everyone but me. My concert was the only one on her 22 city tour that wasn't rescheduled after her sudden exhaustion excuse. It wasn't really that surprising to me. I was supposed to be in the front row and all. Well now she's in Europe and it's rumored she will be making a US comeback. Gaga you better get your ass back here.

Confirmed-
RPattz and KStew a couple. I never saw two people more perfect for each other. With her unpainted toe nails and his greasy hair...they are by far the smelliest couple ever.

Spotted-
Kenan Thompson from "All That" who now stars on SNL was shopping at the local Gristedes supermarket looking very high. Dressed like a complete dirtbag he was fitting in perfectly with the rest of the NYC crowd. I couldn't help but relive "welcome to good burger home of the goodburger" in my head.

Delivered-
Kourtney Kardashian delivered her own baby, literally. In last weeks episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" she pulled her baby boy out of her pikachu. If you missed the episode I'm sure E will obnoxiously replay it 100 more times.

Birthday Announcement-
Chelsea Handler turned 35 this week so happy birthday to one of my favorite bitches on the planet. I can't wait for her new book to launch. The last one was way too funny for words.
