Happy Birthday Michael Jackson!

I would like to send a special birthday prayer to the King of Pop. May the angels guide you to a happier place where you can rest in peace. Unfortunately, MJ was unable to see the day he would turn 51 years of age. Dying at the age of 50, he left behind a legacy that will never be surpassed by anyone in the history of music. Happy Birthday Michael! You will live on in my thoughts and prayers.

RIP DJ AM

Another sad day in music. There was no other DJ that can spin the way he did. He brought all genres of music together in a way no one even attempted. Having re-read his latest tweets, it gave me chills. "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems." You really need to grab the person next to you and tell them you love them. You never know when you won't have that chance again. I love how I'm saying this and I'm the most unaffectionate person on the planet. But I truly mean it! Don't forget to tell those you care about how special they really are to you.

Celebrity Update Fridays

It's time for my first official week of events...

Spotted: Adrian Grenier shopping at the Apple store in Soho around 5pm on Wednesday. Definitely a good looking guy...beautiful eyes but please Adrian buy a razor! What the eff was going on with his face? Hair everywhere! Kristen and I were choking, ugh! Anyways, Vince at least gets hot girls on the show. I am not sure what he was sporting on his arm but it wasn't Isabel Lucas. Get her back!

Where in the world is RPattz
? C'mon did you think I didn't know. The entire Twilight cast has been busy filming the 3rd installment of Twilight entitled "Eclipse." He was recently seen at a Kings of Leon concert with none other than that talentless actress KStew. Rob let her stay with her boyfriend please!

Hmm who should I stalk next? Zac Efro
n? (I know he's a little outdated) It should be illegal to be that HOT! It isn't fair that Zefron never comes to NY. I guess I have a mission on my next trip to LA.

If you haven't snatched yourself a copy of "Hot Mess" by Cobra Starship then get your ass online and download a free copy. They're also touring right now. So bummed I missed that one =/

I Seek Britney!

So twitter mania has made me loose my mind today. Thanks to that crazy celebrity stalking website I found out that Britney would be hiding somewhere in the city. There would be clues to find out her exact location and she would be there to give away 2 front row tickets to her concert in NY. Well of course I had this crazy idea that I needed to go and win these tickets. Lets remember that not even 6 months ago I sat practically on the stage on a red couch and could touch Britney. Those seats were not very cheap but of course it's all about the experience for me. So here I am leaving my house at 4pm with none other than my parents because my friends have all given up on my spontaneous escapades. My friend Mike was online the whole time researching the many spots in the city that Brit Brit can be hiding. As we reached crunch time we were out of options. Britney tweeted that she would be in the city at 6pm with her clown.

Then a series of tweets followed:
1-My sweet hiding spot is outdoors below 60th street but no lower then 20th street
2-They’ve been aroundsince 1941
3-Lots of colors like a clown but mostly Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Brown
Right then, Mike and I guessed the M&M store in Times Square.Sure enough Z100 and Brit then responded on Twitter saying she was on 47th and 7th going to the M&M store. I was already running through the streets to get to the front of the store. There were barricades and police everywhere. I managed to push myself to the front and knock people out. With only 10 minutes left until her 6pm arrival two clowns departed a bus and I start running towards them. I needed to get to them and scream "I seek Britney" to win those tickets. Of course the wonderful cops of NY pushed me back and slammed a barricade in front of me. The girl next to me slipped through and managed to snatch herself the winning tickets. What are the odds?? Hmm well when it comes to me I'm not surprised. I wasn't so upset about not winning the tickets because I already sat front row, but now I couldn't get my picture with Brit. Then the blue double decker tour bus pulled up with Britney's dancers on the top level waving to the crowd and the pop princess herself getting off to greet the winner. I did get to see her for a total of 20 sec where she smiled for a quick photo and waved to the crowd before she ran back onto the bus and drove away. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a picture but I did get to see her and be in the middle of chaos yet again. It was yet again another "what did Jess do this time?" moment.

To take advice or not take advice?

Sometimes I wonder how someone can give such good advice but doesn't listen to it themselves. I would be talking about myself of course. Many of my friends have been in terrible situations with their boyfriends, work and debt and somehow managed to turn it all around. Me on the other hand, is a hot mess! I feel like my life at this very moment is in limbo. The debt has reached an all time high and isn't going away anytime soon. But when you have friends that tell you to just keep on traveling the world and live the good life, you forget you have no money. Maybe one day I'll actually listen to my own advice and save a little. Save?? Ugh, what a scary word!

Boyfriends is another issue. I'll probably be single for another couple years. My friends found great partners and are happy in their relationships. I want a guy that doesn't exist. I raised my standards so high that it's going to be impossible to find anyone. Let me tell you what I'm looking for: dark hair, dark eyes, eyeliner, tattoos, black nail polish, tall and skinny (malnourished look) wardrobe consisting of mostly black tees with skinny jeans and converses. Of course he needs to be funny, artistic and willing to travel and be spontaneous. Does this boy actually exist? Or is he in a rock band? I'm pretty sure he lives in LA (where I should be right now). My dad keeps saying I want to date a woman. He thinks a guy who wears makeup is obviously not a guy. Why can't I find an Adam Lambert lookalike who is straight? Oh right, because I made him up in my head.

Rock or Glam?

Hmm well if you asked me about 5 years ago I would probably say 100% glam but it turns out that's not me. I'm rock all the way, or at least I try to be. Everytime I'm in LA the locals think I'm one of them. I must give off that vibe with my entire wardrobe dedicated to black tops, skinny jeans and of course a pair of beat up converses with no laces. Even my taste in guys has changed. I wouldn't think twice to reject a "suit" they're all douchebags. It isn't even like I've ever dated an Adam Lambert (who I pray everyday was straight). I like that eyeliner, black nail polish. malnourished look. What can I say..I want to date a girl. Can we just discuss I can't wait to see Adam this weekend for the idol tour. I'm such a "glambert." ok enough? What are you rock or glam?? Does it matter on the guy/girl you like?

"Taken" in España

Hola amigos y amigas. I swear my new location is going to be "in the sky" changing my job to flight attendant because I'm rarely ever home. This year alone I have been to LA twice, Vegas, Aruba and now I'm off to Spain for a week. We almost didn't make the flight from traffic that was worst than driving on I-405 but we're here and its sunny and hot.

Hola Barcelona! One of the nicest cities I've visited. The beaches, the sights and the guys are allll beautiful. The clubs were so much better than most clubs in the eastcoast and the westcoast. Desiree and Caitlin had me shazam every single song we heard so I can run home and make a CD for them with all my "spare time." One of the best things about this country has got to the sangria it's to die for. If you're not a big seafood eater you better pack a sandwich because fish by the whole, eyes included is all that's served here. We were lucky enough to attend a Madonna concert while we were here. She was 100 times better than she was in America (she must like the Europeans a lot better). We had VIP friends and family (about 5 ft from the stage) or as Caitlin called it "nosebleeds." The MJ tribute she did was such a tearjerker I couldn't handle myself. Besides the overcrowding of people and the smell their bodies were giving off it was such a great time.

Hola Valencia! So we only spent one night here but let me just reiterate one night. You see, I was supposed to research this entire trip and plan what where we would be visiting and what sights we would be going to, but instead I just borrowed a travel book and decided to wing it. I never got us the round trip train ticket to Valencia and we ended up pulling an all-nighter in the Valencia Nord train station until our 6am train back to Barcelona. Well we weren't "taken" so I guess you can say it turned out as planned. I was able to see the Holy Chalice, aka Jesus' pimp cup and got to sink my teeth into some rabbit. Yes rabbit! Apparently, Valencian paella is not made with seafood like I had imagined. No! It is chicken, rabbit and rice and surprisingly yummy. After our interesting dinner, we were entertained with various jugglers, trumpet players, flame throwers and this really cute old man who sang every song incorrectly. From there we met up with some guys we met from Ireland and drank ourselves silly since we had no where to go for 6 hours.

Hola Madrid! So one of the cities I'll probably never visit again. Not that I didn't enjoy myself with my girlfriends who spoke no Spanish, Desiree added an "o" to the end of every word or Caitlin who spoke with a British accent, I did not feel safe walking the streets. I was cetain we would be taken and sold into prostitution. Thank God I spoke a little bit of Spanish and were able to get us from our hotel and back. The coolest part about this part of the trip was that we were able to hang out with some cool people including Leonardo DiCaprio. Who would have thought we would be invited over to the table that he was hosting at the Me Madrid Hotel. But besides the celeb sightings, I was able to visit the Prado Museum and see the "Las Meninas" by Velázquez.

Hola Toledo! So again this was a one day trip, but one of the places I wish I would have stayed. It was filled with Medieval churchs and arcitecture and some famous masterpieces, including Greco's masterpiece "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz." I'm such an art buff and nerd, I know!

The week went by toooo fast! But all good things must come to an end. Next stop....LA again?!?

Adios y'all

MJ Memorial Cont'd

It's me I'm back. Last night was cool. We ended up going to the Roosevelt hotel for the pool party. I saw Kevin Connolly from entourage. He's really short! Anyways this pool party had synchronized swimming--so cool you don't see this shit in NYC. I went to sunset tan this morning to get bronzed and yes it was the one from the show. That Nick guy is actually nice and really hot!!! Well my tan is sick! We also saw Reggie Bush but Kim wasn't around i would much rather have seen her. We have just got on the road to go to the Neverland ranch. I'm all excited. I hope I can see things. Last night we walked past MJ star on Hollywood blvd. It was so sad. There were flowers and and candles everywhere. I even took a pic with an impersonator that looked just like him but unfortunately it wasn't him =(

OK back from Neverland..so sad! I thought the house in the Holmby Hills and the star on the blvd was depressing but that is NOTHING compared to the 2,800 acres of land called Neverland. There were sooo many people with signs, flowers, t-shirt stands and of course camera crews everywhere. As soon as we pulled up in our hot yellow convertible corvette the cameras were all over us. For some crazy reason the paparazzi thought we had to be someone because we were all dressed up. After my friend was done posing in pictures with randoms we were finally able to pay our respects the one of the "greatest entertainers the world has ever known" --let's just thank Madonna for that quote because she hit it right on. Even though I flew to LA the wrong day for the memorial, it all worked out. I was able to experience a part of history with total strangers that shared a common interest with me and it was truly one of the best days of my life.

MJ Memorial

So it's just an ordinary day in the life of Jessica. Yes I'm getting on a plane again to fly half way across the country but this is what I do best. I just got back from LA just two weeks ago but here I am waiting at Newark airport for my flight. Why don't we just rewind to the reason I am even getting on another 6 hrs of torture. Well MJ died last week (Thursday June 25) and it was reported that his public viewing would be on Friday July 3. Well I freaked out. I've been crying since I heard the news. I had planned on going to London in January to see him perform at the O2 arena and then my dream was crushed. It was truly a sad day for music. OK enough of the depressing details. My nutcase self has to always be in the middle of everything and why not experience the biggest funeral of all time. it's said to beat Elvis and Princess Diana. Well I guess I'll never know for sure because just 24 hrs before it's supposed to happen I get news of a different day and a different place for the memorial. That would be my luck to book a flight, hotel and car the day before and not even go to his public funeral. What a mess! At least my partner in crime is with me. Before I even asked Caitlin if she wanted to go she probably already had her bags packed. She's the main reason I'm in all this debt. She has me book vacations like it's a pack of gum. I don't regret any of it though. I've had some truly amazing times with her and been to amazing places. Not to mention I leave for Spain in 3 weeks. Yah! That's a story in itself so I'll save it for another day. Getting back to Cali! I'm kind of bummed I won't see MJ but we are going to Neverland ranch and the funeral home his body is at in the Hollywood Hills. I'm a sick stalker but I do find everything out. I should probably work for TMZ ( I should really consider it) who hooks up with general hospital actors, checks into the hotel where Rob Pattz is staying and hangs with DJ AM before his plane crash. That's just a few of the crazy things that occur in my life. I'm kind of getting impatient right now. This plane is delayed and I just want to take a nap. People to see and things to do. Oh god how I love LA. It's definitely the place I need to move asap.
